[讨论]请教VAUGHAN房产和学校。

Looking for buying a home.
- 4 bed new house (0-5 year or such)
- good school (do not have to be the best. %75-%85 for EQAO)
- good transportation
- price is reasonable ($400K or less)

Your advice is very appreciated. Please do mislead this discussion. For example, please do not mention the best school in the old area since there are no mid class new house there.


Markham:
Good school and new house. Transportation is not good. Prices are high.

Richmond Hill:
Prices are too high.

Mississauga:
Prices are low. Schools are so so (for new construction area). Transportation bad (slow, too far to Toronto and Scarborough).
Airport noise in the most new building area (north Derry)

Vaughan:
Transportation is the best. HW400 and Hw7. There are some new constructions. But do not have much school information.

    • 我也去Vaughan:看過,那里好像天主教學校多,公立學校少,據説意大利人多。房價也不便宜。
      • I checked schools in that area. Some schools are not bad (at lease compared to W19 in Mississauga).
        There are not fully developed yet. Location is close to center of north of GTA with Hw400, Hw7, Hw 407 to 401. The prices are $400K for middle class (4 bed, 2500sq).
      • Strategy to buy a home for living
        It is true that, for middle class houses, the prices go up very fast as soon as Chinese come in because the most Chinese have cashes and are willing to invest to their home. However, the most Chinese do not want to be the first one to step into a new area. I am thinking to find good and not too expensive places where there are not too many Chinese coming yet. A few years later, when the most fellows recognize the values the area, the prices will increase significantly.

        Richmond and Markham are my last chioce unless I have business in the area.
