Anybody who knows the marriage law in Canada? Please help me out of this situation now...Thanks!

I have been living with my husband for more than 4 months. We argued almost every week since a lot of differences between us. I feel I was abused by him emotionally and financially. The recent case is that I asked money from him and he only gave me 20 dollars for grocery. He complained that he payed for everything at home since I don't have income yet. He insisted that I can spend my own saving instead of relying on him for everything.

My Question is :
1. If a wife has saving(before marriage), doesn't her husband need to spend for her ? She has to rely on her own money. Right?

2. If we have to separate finally ,he will be out of his responsibility since I have enough saving for my rent or grocery??

3. He keep on repeating that my saving is enough to cover my expenses, so I will not go to the government assistance , therefore the government will not chase him either.

If things go on like this, what shall I do?

I appreciate the opinion from those who really knows the law.

        本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Right now I had too much stress from the searching a job and the relationship. I am getting sick physically and emotionally. The last time he gave me 20 dollars and I insisted on 100 but finally I returned to him since then He didn't care If I have money or not. What I am concerned is that I can spend my saving but his attitude is getting worse since he is not the man who would like to hold the responsibility for a family if the wife had no income. He even told me to move out of the place to find my own place. My question is that we are becoming enemines now. I don't want to be so weak if he treated me like this. Yes I can move out and find my place and pay my own rent? What about him? He will have nothing to do with me since I have my saving? He sponsored me over and How is he bound to his responsibility?

        I am not asking money from him for the point of money, I just hate him and want him to realize the result that we separate or the result he is abusing me now...
