mechanical pencil can be as cheap as 1.5/each, but for very professional one it can be 10$/each.
glue is as cheap as 1$
paper knife is rarely used here.
paste-it notes is only cheap in August before school starts in september
回形针1盒, 订书钉1盒, 小透明胶带3卷 are all
very cheap here.
笔记本2本 is enough. you will mostly use loose sheet paper later. and such notebooks are damned cheap in August.
铅笔芯2盒comparatively expensive here
虎骠清凉油 is availale in chinatown, 1 is enough for personal use, and you won't use it in public because of its irritating smell.
in fact you can find most herbal medicine in chinatown at very low prices. so it's very important to bring some antibiotics which requires prescription here.
shoe oil? nobody uses it, hehe.
very very very very complete list, though something IMHO is not very necessary.
battery recharger is easy to get here.
I think they mean underwear, top and bottom, which you wear usually.
one quilt should be enough for you being a young male.
wool sweater?! absolutely wash it by hand, go buy ZERO wool/silk cleanser to wash it!
