我赶紧说:“I'll hide my impression.” 他更正我,“put on your poker face”。

    • interesting........
    • it is new for me. Thanks. BTW, what does 'chicken' mean?
      • chicken means the meat you love to eat. It also means loser, I dare you call me that. ^O^
      • Followin the question in last message. the context is: after I sent some data (not complete)to one accountant of my company, she called me back and said'chicken, haha, just kiding, you have been a big help'
        • at that point, she is calling you "胆小鬼".
    • :D
    • I love your writing. short but meaningful. Thanks
      • Thanks. I love the supports from all of YOU.
    • To add something here, I would say that word may have some other implications. When you describe a person who even grudges a smile to people around or who appears very cold, indifferent, you may also use "poker face".
