      have to use a number to identify yourself (I'd rather to be identified by an email address than a number). Yahoo messenger is also pretty good, but you will only be able to communicate with persons has Yahoo address.

      If you have a hotmail address, it will be easy to use msn messenger. If not, you will have to apply for a passport using your current email address, and then you will be able to use msn messenger.
