Thanks. The second part is in #439613. Here is the third( ending) part.

August 18, 2001, the day I will never forget, the day we got married. The ceremony was held at Toronto City Hall Wedding Chamber, and everything went smoothly except two of my friends got there late because of traffic. We followed the officiant's instructions, repeat the oath, exchanged the rings, and signed the documents. After that, my husband and I as well as other six friends who came from waterloo and within Toronto drove back to our new home and started a family party. It's just a basement though, but with Jim my love beside me, it's like Disneyland for me.

It has been about two years since we met each other. It's not very long time but long enough for me to know him, to know what love is all about. Now we are together, in this beautiful country, living with so many kind and friendly people. I think it is a new start for both of us, and for our relationship. Our love story is just beginning.

    (part 1 )

I met Jim in October 1999, when I was a student of Zhongshan University. As I majored in English, I used to practice my English speaking at the English Corner in Zhongshan University every Wednesday night. He was working in a big bank as a computer system technician, and he went to the English Corner every wednesday too, so that he cound improved his oral English before his new life in Canada, which he told me later. Then that night, we met at the English Corner, and I really enjoyed the conversation. He was very gentle, humous, elegant, and we found we had so many things in common, through our chat in English.

Few days later, he called my home for the first time. Unfortunately my mom picked the phone, and because she thought that I was too young for date and that he might be a dangerous guy, she didn't allow him speak to me and turned him down directly. But he didn't give up. Next time he saw me at the English Corner, he asked me to climb the White Cloud Mountain together, which was inside our city. Of course I agreed instantly. But again, just before we were ready to go out, my mom knew it and forbidded me to go out with him. So I had to phone him and he seemed very frustrated. Then for the following several months he didn't call me and didn't show up at the English Corner until the middle of March 2000, I saw him again at the English Corner. Surprisingly, once again he asked me to movie after the English speaking practice. Then later we went to cinema, and I still remember our first movie was Hollywood's 'Double Jeopardy'. He was so nervous when he sat with me in the cinema. From then on, we started dating and my mom began to accept him gradually because he was always very polite when he called my home. Furthermore, after he came to my home and had dinner with my parents, they started to like this tall, shy, well-educated, and good mannered young man.

Those days we dated very frequently. Our favorite place was a bar called 'Blues Republic', and he always wanted me to watch their basketball games which were routinely held on every weekend. He was such a shy boy that he didn't dare to touch my hands even after we had begin our relationship for about 2 months. Then finally, he asked me one day, ' we have been lovers, right? So, can we walk hand in hand?'

The longer we being together the more I liked him. He was so nice to me that I alway get touched by the little things he did for me. Whenever I felt sick, he would always accompany me all the time and took good care of me; whenever I took semester exam, he would always wait outside and then reward me a feast. Because he submitted his application forms for immigration before we met each other, he would leave for Canada in a short time and I could not go with him. We both treasured the moments we spent together before his leaving, and he promised me that he would love me forever and marry me as soon as possible.

Then the most painful period came after he took off. We....

Then the most painful period came after he took off. We used emails as our main communication form before he got the job. He sent me lots of them, from public library first and then from his laptop computer after he had his own phone line connected. From his emails I knew it was so hard to start a new life in a totally different country. About one and a half month later after his landing, he got a programmer position offer in a company called GeneralCom. I was so proud of him and our whole family was so happy when we heard that. From then on, he called me so often that the average phone bill for him was 200 to 300 canadian dollars, once reached more than 400. He missed me so much that sometimes he even could not fall in sleep during the whole night, and many times he told me that he had thought about going back to China just for being with me. We talked about our future, about how much we missed each other, and I was easily in tears. We exchanged emails, letters, and sometimes newly pictured photoes as well. Oct.9, 2000, it was my birthday, and he gave me a surprise by asking several friends of him in Guangzhou to give me flowers and presents for him at this day. When a friend of him in Toronto went back to China on vacation, he asked him to bring presents for me. And there were lots of such things he did for me.

As times went by, both of us could not stand being separate any more. I couldn't even concentrate myself on my study in Zhongshan University because of missing him. He told me that the application procedure would take about half a year or more for me to come here if he went back to China and married me. He suggested that I could continue my education in Canada, and this kind of student application would only take about 2 or 3 months for me to come here. I discussed this with my parents and relatives and they all supported this choice and by this way my Jim and I could get together soon, and I could get very advanced education as well. So I submitted my application forms for student visa in late March 2001, and it was approved less than 3 month later. During this peroid of time, he asked 3 weeks vacation to visit me, from April 2 to May 1. He told me that he would die if he did not. And April 29, 2001, just before he returned back to Toronto, he made his proposal.

I arrived at Toronto airport in July 20, 2001. Finally, after one whole year, from June 2000 to July 2001, we were together again. We celebrated this excitting moment in a restaurent in Chinatown. The following days were quite busy. I needed to settle down first, then impoved my English listenning and speaking as much as I can, and then prepare our wedding. My Jim helped me so much that I didn't feel any hardness and inconvenience in those days. I like Canada very much, and I love Jim very much, now I live in this country with this person, I think I am the luckiest girl in this world.

      • Something changed. It's good.
Seven years ago, I told myself: Be a rich man. Be powerful. Better be famous.
Three years ago, I told myself: Be a rich man, Better be powerful.
One year ago, I told myself( in Canada already): Be a rich man SOON! forget being powerful.
Now I think, maybe I just need to be a good husband, and forget anything else. Oh wait, if possible, be rich.
People changed, so did I. That's good, isn't it?
        • 这段是什么?你写的吧:P
