Anyway, I believe the circuit breaker is not supply voltage out. And my guess is the wire is not connected to the breaker.

How old the house is? New home you just move in?

Dish washer rough in wire should run directly from breaker panel to the kitchen counter where washing machine opening location. Suggest you to check (IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE TO DO IT) Open up the panel cover, check the wire make sure it is connected to the circuit breaker. I believe the wire is not connected. You said you measured with valtge, that is only a feed back voltgae from the White wire It may have 59 to 61 volts, not enough to run any machine, Black wire should have 110 volt if it is connected. that is the reason I asked you to answer my questions.

Remember, Safety first, if you don’t feel comfortable, don’t’ open it, it may only cost you $50 to $100 if call somebody in to fix it. However it is much saver for you and the family. if want someone fix it for you.I like to earn that money. PM me :-)

    新whirlpool dishwasher, 按照说明书安装water line, drain和direct wiring后, 经过检查一切无误.
    开水管, 开电源, 无任何反映. 无LED灯亮.
    检查电源线, 没有电压. 下楼关掉switch, 电源线有电压.
    再次打开switch, 电源线又失去电压, @#%!#%^^.

    再次阅读说明书, 发现有一个overload的保护装置, 找到后reset, 故障依旧.

    请大家诊断一下会是什么问题? 是洗衣机的故障还是什么其他问题.

    实在不行只有call service了.

      What switch did you 关掉? Is it a circuit breaker in the panel?
      also you said "关掉switch, 电源线有电压". How many volts is measured and how did you measure?
      Can you measure it again with the following method and post the result?
      Black wire and white wire =how many volts?
      Black wire to metal ground =how many volts?
      White wire metal ground =how many volts?
      measure twice, 1st with "Switch ON" 2nd with "Switch OFF"

        --> i use voltage detector, cannot tell how many v; i have a multi-measure without battery though.
      • i cannot measure the voltage when i switch on because voltage detector won't beep when i have the wire connected with dish washer and when circuit breaker is on. it will beep when i disconnect with dish washer and circuit breaker is on. -toronto_fun(1); 2008-10-12 (#4760730@0)

              what i mean is. the dish washer wire is not connected to the circuit breaker. this a safety reason. the rough in wire will not conected to breaker. because the wire is open on the other end at the kitchen. you can call the builder. i believe they will call electrician do it for you, you may need to pay them. voltage is not the problem..

                  As long as the door latched after closed it should not have leakage, there is a door switch, if door did not close properly. The machine will not operate. the microwave oven were constructed like a metal box all around, microwave will not penetrate metal no leak from all sides, there is why no one use metal container to cook in microwave oven. Food won't heat up in a metal container
                  As you can see microwave oven front door are a piece of metal screen, it have many holes on it. The metal screen is there to block the microwave go out from the door also let it bounce back to the food that being heat up. Also we can see through it
