Why did the OS rewrite your registering tables? Unreasonable.

I am not sure where's your problem:But

(1). Checking whether the DHCP server gave you IP address.There are 5-6 Steps before you can use it, you can get relative technical infomation on cisco CCO about Cable modem. It's very complexed.The most important information which will be helpful is recored in the Network managment software, It would record why the register process did not be finished, On which step it got a problem. But on client side, we can not get nothing about it. So contacting the technical support team.

    刚刚帮别人装两台机共享ROGERS CABLE,在一台机上装第二块网卡后用交叉线连接,无法连通,将第二块网卡去掉后,ROGERS仍无法上网,RELEASE,RENEW都试过了还不行,打电话给ROGERS进行TROUBLESHOOTING,告之要改注册表,说是WINSOCK有问题,哪位高手知道怎样改,恳请指教,多谢!!!

      前两天换了个网卡也不成了，电话过去，告诉说，IP已经RELEASE啦，还是上不去，最后换回原来网卡马上OK。用原来上过的网卡连MODEM，或等几天RELEASE你的IP，你试试，也许成。
