天天英文 DAY SIX!

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Hope you guys all had a great weekend. Mine was a lot of running around and very exhausting, and that's why I didn't get a chance to post any daily english stuffs. I'm sorry about that:-)Btw, do you guys find that sometimes weekends are more tiring than week days:-)?

Anyways, let's get back to business. Today, I want to talk about drinks (beers, wines, etc). I know a lot of people definately know more them than I do, but just thought it would be a good idea to put something quick together for us to share. Again, any comments and discussions are welcome.

Beers
Coors Light – 4% alcohol makes it a fairly light and refresahing beer. Probably the most popular beer.
Corona – 4% alcohol make this a light, refreshing beer that should be served with a lime
Rickards White – Rickard’s Original White Ale has a natural cloudy appearance. Try it in a pint glass garnished with an orange.
Canadian - Canadian is a smooth, refreshing beer with a genuine taste. Clean and clear, crisp and cold Canadian is a classic lager.
Heineken – probably the most popular import beer. A little more expensive than most beers.

Red Wines
Merlot - The soft, round and fruitful Merlot grape has a flavor that ranges from purple plums to red cherries.
Cabernet Sauvignon - is one of the world's most widely recognized red wine. (nice to drink when eating meats or pasta)
Chianti – a little bit on the lighter side. Nice wine to drink casualy when not eating

Rose
Zinfandel - White zinfandel is a pale-rose wine colored that's very sweet. Needs to be chilled before drinking.

White Wine
Pinot Grigio – Italy’s most famous white wine. Its flavors can range from melon to pear and some even offer a subtle tropical or citrus fruit, often there is a honey or smoky flavor component as well.
Chardonnay – very dry white wine, nice to drink when eating seafood.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
