We are waiting for the family student house for a long time. Few days ago, the school told us we can move in Feb. 12
so we told our landlord on Jan. 10th, we told them earlier( one month ealier), so we hope he will give us half month rent fee. But he said our rental fee is paid for staying at the end of month, he whould not pay back even though we move earlier. But I think we tell you one month earlier, then you have enough time to find another people to rent. We don't the law for renting room. We are students and do not want to waste so much money. Does anyone know about the rent law and help us? We just want to know whether we can ask for the half month rent fee or not? Thanks a lot!
