If you don't want to think, do this!Gov bond. You only lose money when Canada Government bankrupt. It is very safe.
Balanced Fund. Combine Gov bond and BlueChip. It is also a conserve way to grow your money.
Because no guarantee, you can get the max. return. If somebody says to guarantee you, that means they also make money from the guarantee (they can calculate how to minimaize their risk other than yours). The guarantee cost your money!
Only GIC can say guarantee. but it doesn't actually guarantee your every year return either.
