British Airways has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Nairobi, Kenya and Johannesburg, South Africa down to between $914 and $1028 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in London Heathrow each way.
The layovers are long in both directions, ranging from 6 to 19 hours.
Although overall the total travel time isn't *drastically* longer than the fastest flights, particularly to Johannesburg.
NOTE: Completely unrelated, but today you can also find flights from Seattle to Tahiti for $715 CAD roundtrip. This fare appeared a few minutes after I sent out this deal, and I just missed including it.
