枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / 国内签美国容易还是在加拿大签美国容易我的亲哥哥在美国,我在2年前公派去过美国培训过,这次正好7月份要回国,然后想去美国玩玩,我是在国内签证还是再回到加拿大来签证好啊,哪个成功率高,另外我可以以探亲的名义吗,要提供些什么证明吗,我来加拿大1年还不到,所以也没什么工作及税单证明,我哥那边出经济担保行吗

I personally think it will be easier to get a B visa in Canada, if you have a PR or student VISA. Also if you were a student, normally they give you 6 month or 1 year. But,your Canadian status must cover the period that you will stay in US.

办美国签证，雇主信，银行信，就基本行了。目的就说旅游购物，基本上就可以了。比方你说你想去纽约，或者，想去disney，就行了。嗯。

If you have been in Canada for long, and have a good working/education status, you most likely will be successful. I doubt that if you say your brother is in US will help or affect.

In my personal view, your case is not strong, even if you have been in Canada for more than 1 year. B2 should be okay for enter from any border.
