枫下家园 / 家庭与子女 / 请问各位DX，我和老婆还没登陆加国，但想在近期要孩子，是国内生孩子还是生在加拿大。我们需要预产期多长时间之前登陆为好。主要是从费用和国籍考虑。我们还没有拿到签证，3月体检完（北京申请），估计10月之前能有消息。我们年龄不小了，想抓紧要孩子了（现在没怀孕），主要是不知道加国的福利条件我们能不能享用，我们要负担哪些费用。我在坛子里看了很长时间，没弄清楚。

you don't simply mess things together. 费用和国籍 are nothing compared to having a baby. wait for your visa for another 4 months if you are sure 10月之前能有消息. 加国的福利条件 sooner or later you will have it.

If you do not have OHIP, you will pay lots of money for checking pregnancy regular check. If your wife get sick, you will pay more. Once she needs about 250 -300 dollars in hospital. B超 is 140 dollars once.
