得1－2个小时，主要是排队。不过宣誓是集体仪式，啥时开始会写信通知你，不是你想中午去就可以去的。

I submit all documents at the end of July, got a letter in Aug. Still waiting for test notice now.Could you tell me when you apply citizenship? I heard from one of my friend that the process would be longer if you take a trip to another country in three years, is it true? Could somebody have already get test notice if he/she apply citizenship at the end of July? and if you didn't leave Canada in three years?

feb.2003 did application. nov.4 first time written test(missed), nov 26 th second time written test. this fridy will take the citizenship ceremony.

i live in mississauga and i traveled to other country 2 months within 3 years.

Mostly it's difficult to make it within your lunch hour- mine took 2.5hr net. You have to add the transit time needed to and from the ceremony. It's better ask 1-2 hrs off.
