No,it must be taken in the police station, 6 month later police station will send back the fingerprint

the procedure is: after you receive the request from CIC, you need take figure print at some agency not police station, and then you send the form to CIC,CIC will send your form to RCMP and RCMP will send the result to CIC. When you take finger print they need fill your file number (in request letter from CIC) on the form. I don't think you can do it withour CIC's letter.
