找工作是合法的, 但是人要是离开加拿大可能不行吧? 人到HRDC 问个清楚不就好了, 就说是帮别人问的 :)

这里说的是“居民“。。。比如你因某种HRDC认可的原因必须搬家，到新的地方是可以申请继续领EI的。不过你说的去美国是临时visitor性质八。。。
不过政策是灵活地。我知道圣诞的时候老外回家乡看老爸，HRDC的人就说EI照领。。。照此办理，你找工烦了去米国散散心是不是也可以呢？？？"P

No, illeagal, "同时在加拿大和美国两国之内找工作", if so , u need to have green card, H-1B,TN is only allowed to work for the sponsor, if u lose job,No, illeagal, "同时在加拿大和美国两国之内找工作", if so , u need to have green card, H-1B,TN is only allowed to work for the sponsor, if u lose job, u lose ur H-1b or TN atuomatically even u can get a H-1b of 3 years.
If u have TN or H1b in us, that means u have a job, why need EI from canada?
if u don't have job and green card in US, want a EI from canada, what is your status? if u r only a visitor, can get EI from canada,.then all the chinese can get EI from canada in china. right?

Guest workers are not defined as residents by immigration law. The inter-state EI/UI case applies to permanent resident in strict sense.You can claim inter-state EI in US only you are a US citizen or green card holder. (ayslum seeker and refugee can do too, but not TN and H1 guest workers).

TN and H1B is temporary worker, only can work for ur sponsor, if for others, or part time for others , is also illeagal. canadian citizen is equivalent to B visa.

u can only travel to us , or have a interview in us, also need to stay in canada to get EI. otherwise, u can't get it.
