枫下茶话 / 法律 / Got a letter from CIC, ask to completed a residence questionnaire within 30days.I took the test at Jul.13 in Scarborough, waiting oath.Actually, I was in China, they asked the copy of passport-every page,if they found I was out of Canada, what will they do? They also asked the documents to assist the citizenship judge in dertermining if i meet the residence requirement. Did anybody did it before? Help!!

It's certainly not a good sign, however. You may be able to recall that youdid not have a smooth check-point before being allowed to take your citizenship test. In other words, they must have smelled something fishy on your departure records when they did the sanitary check on your passport . Then, they'd isolate your file from the other pile for further handling albeit they still let you take the exam. Good luck dude.

I was back to China after the test, Everything on aoplication is true, more than 1095days.Just wonder if I should send all the documents to the office, you know there hundred copy of Telephone bill and bank statement in the past 4 yrs. Any suggestion??

Suggestionshow about your PR Card, if they issued that to you, and you used the same residential history record to fill in the application form, should be OK, because they went through check already when they issued the PR card, or the date you went to for the citizhenship test, before test, what the officier asked you, they wrote the notes accordingly, recall that , might be help, good luck

PR card and test is nomal.Nothing special.Is it radam select or the officer found I left Canada after test? They didn't forbid to out of country after test,right?

If you are really physically qualify for the residental test, nothing to worry about, they asked for the document of your application form period. It might be a radam shotting.

They suggested the documents including Telephone bill, Bank statement, should i send everymonth to cover the past 4yrs,that will be a lot and I didn't keep so many.which is most one they want to see? I prepare the ROE Form, T 4, annoying!

In my case, before the test i already leave Canada. Nowhere say you cannot leave the country after the test or before the test. .In my case, before the test i already leave Canada. The only thing is make sure you live in the country for at lease 1095 days within four years and let the office believe that is true. I think your case is unluck and you should recall what in your applicationn make the office worry. Good luck. By the way, i don't know what will happen to my case. i took the test on Sept 2. Still wait for the oath.
