雇主 should pay EI, CPP and tax to CRA every month, if they don't pay you should get new 雇主.

every monthy, CRA will send your employer a letter and before next 15 of month, pay his portion of CPP,EI and your portion of CPP, EI and tax.Remeber, you must pay every monthy to keep your status. If you want to renew under same employer, you should 提前 two monthys to do it. I remembered it took my nanny around one and half monthys to get renew working permit.
