说的不错just a technical discussion, not for debating. For a single voice call with g711, depending on the layer 2 technology, it takes ~80-90 Kbps for the RTP media stream, plus some insignificant signalling traffic. if using g729 (g729a, g729b), it is compressed. if not considering layer 2, it takes 8Kbps for layer 3 payload. with layer 2 into consideration, it adds more overhead.

I truly admire rolians like akoei investing time and effort to help people understand and appreciate voip technology - and very soon, UC to the consumers space I hope.as for those trivial technical details, who cares - or may be just for a very small group of people.

Acanac, Skype都有输入的数字丢失的问题。vb反而没有。Acanac可以通过设置voip adapter解决。You will need to change your DTMF settings , Default setting is InBand+INFO. you can play around with the tone settings to see if you can find one that suits your telephone.
Please visit this link.It will help you how to change the DTMF settings:

-----
My default setting in PAP2 is Auto. InBand is better than INFO.
但是,设成InBand后,反而不能通过*123提Acanac的留言, 通过800电话就可以。

VoIP 现在还存在着这些问题。密码及一些数字都会丢。如果 不想花钱生气,就忍一段时间再查查

I think my VOIP DIY plan is the best.1. Linksys PAP2 ATA, hacked with Sipura SPA-2000 firmware, which allows port 1 call out thru one account but receive call on another account
2. Apply phone # with VBuzzer Me. $2/month
3. Apply an VOIP account with nonoh.net, free call to many countries for 90 days after each deposit. 1c/minute after.
4. Setup you PAP2 to use nonoh.net for dialing out and using vbuzzer.
Note: Always use paypal to make payment to those VOIP companies, for your own protection.
