you can get back your money from Bell...my story:
same as yours. Called Bell and blamed them to death. Got appoligize.
Restated a new bill for me. Calculated all china long distance to
1.14/min.

Bell has too much "fine print"!Bell has too much "fine print"! Maybe its plan is good, but I just cannot spend time to study its fine print, also I'm afraid of being trapped.
The same strategy is used by Bell Mobility, Sympatico. I get headache when I see tons of fine print on the bottom of flyers. Maybe they should try some more direct way to sell their service.

我跟您的经验一模一样,有呼出限制,却突然要我交FirstRate的月租,打电话到Bell,连他们都说Doesn't make any sense。怀疑Bell那群家伙靠Commision过日子,每次打电话问其他事情,就总是不厌其烦地向你兜售他们的服务。

这里的call centre和telemarketing都是一样的啦,我每次电话到bell要求某些service,他们都要兜售各种服务,我就一个劲的说I am not interested in that。我估计他们有base salary,再加commision的。

我的经验: 一定要记下名字!!!Every time call Bell (or anyother customer service) remember to ask for his/her name and agent number. If anything happens, u can always call again and says " xxx said ..... " . Be cautious in the first place, then you'll be better protected.
As a last resort , you can always write complain letter. I got my $50 refund from Bell Sympatico after I wrote a letter to the president.

Sometimes this way does't work. Last time I had the similar experience. I had written down the customer representative name. when i told them the name, they told me there is no such a person there.i think the best way is to record the conversation using a answer machine.

Call other long distance companies, then transfer, that's ok. Don't say anything to Bell. If you want to cancel any services, just say "CANCEL" the SERVICE.
