This is legal for one month notice. There is no law for 60 days notice except you signed a lease to apartment directly and they put "60 days" on your contract.For sharing or renting house from personal, 30 days is implicit.

二房东不是真正的房东,二房东对公寓管理处互相承担60 days notice. 与租客之间的提前一个月通知是惯例。这个惯例双方是对等的,凡是share房子的人都接受这个规定。从没和别人share 过房子的人在这里说什么by law 毫无意义。
我当过二房东和房客,无论在哪大家都接受这个惯例。二房东收的房租不是个人收入,只是转交给管理处。我在开给房客的每张收据上都写上转交管理公司。这样在税务上清楚。share房子双方收益,不愿意接受惯例的完全可以自己独住。
